Food Safety Personnel Training
The training of food business personnel in food safety is mandatory according to Ministerial Decision 14708/2007/GG 1616/B/17.8.2007) of the Ministry of Development.
The training is applied: a) to the staff of businesses that produce, process, store, transport, trade food or engage in retail, food distribution, mass catering and confectionery or are food production or processing plants. These businesses have an obligation to train all their personnel dealing with food handling, based on the relevant Ministerial Decision.
Perfect Food has approved trainers, included in the EFET Trainers Register for carrying out certified training programs to obtain the required EFET Training Certificate. The content of the training programs includes:
• Introduction to food safety
• Food safety hazards
• Foodborne infections
• Personal hygiene of food handlers
• Work environment requirements
• Cleaning and disinfection
• Disinfestation and rodenticide
• Food legislation
